Very Warm Across Eastern US This Weekend

We have been forecasting for quite some time a very nice warm up over the eastern US during the third week of December pattern shift.  That continues to play out really well as highs of 70s and 80s are expected for all of the Southeast.  Even abundant 60s will push into portions of the Northeast, including southern Pennsylvania and New York.  Unfortunately for Maine, being that far north doesn’t help much. The warmth will continue across the eastern US but note the much cooler conditions starting to advance toward the region for a significant cool down early next week.

Very mild conditions are expected Saturday over the eastern US. This image shows the forecast highs for Saturday.

Sunday afternoon highs across the US. Quite chilly across the central US as a weather system passes through. Enjoy the warmth in the East as it won't last.
