Strong Cold Blasts This Week

Monday:  This week will have a couple rather impressive cold blasts sweep across the Midwest and East. Temperatures will drop well below normal as lows reach 0F and teens, 20s along the coast, resulting in stronger than normal demand. Chilly conditions will also reach the Southeast where lows will drop to near freezing.  The first image shows the heat signature just off the surface mid-week.  The second image shows lows Wednesday morning. The second image shows highs Wednesday with only teens to 30s over the Great Lakes and Northeast.
