Tuesday:  Accumulated Heating Degree Days so far this heating season remain well below normal and also below last year.  This has led to a delayed start to the withdraw season.   This should result in another larger than normal build for this week”s EIA nat gas storage report, the 2nd in a row after coming in under for 26 straight weeks.  The chart shows how HDD’s are much lower than average since October 1st and also lower than both warm and cold year comparisons.  A strong weather system into the eastern US will make up a little bit of ground this weekend, but still waiting on prolonged cold.
