The weather is exceptionally quiet today over the entire US.  There are many features that are about to become big players in the nations weather, but today much of the US will be under mostly clear skies.

1)  Yesterdays weak system continues to shift out of the Northeast while the region remains under a weak trough of low pressure.

2)  The next Arctic blast is pushing into southwestern Canada and will sweep through the northern Plains Saturday night and into the central and eastern US Sunday and Monday.

3)  This disorganized low will eject into the southeastern US and develop into a more organized weather system capable of producing a widespread swath of moderate to heavy rain  as it track along the entire eastern US coastline.

4)  Hey high pressure.  Yes, we see you.  You can go away now.  If you stay much longer, you will need to start paying rent.
