Monday, October 23:  There will be three weather systems impacting the US over the next week. The first is currently sweeping through the east-central US, although rather mild.   A second cooler one, but far from cold, will be quick on its heels into the Midwest and then East mid-week.  The third in the series is the coldest and the main reason prices are higher to open the week as this system has trended colder since late last week. The above image shows temperatures versus normal this coming weekend with this third system expected to usher in temperatures 10-20F colder than normal, bringing with it the first widespread hard freeze into the central US before gradually moderating as it spreads east early next week.
