Christmas Eve/Christmas Day Weather Set Up

Wednesday, December 19: A quick cool shot is expected across the Midwest to Northeast but with little moisture so only scattered rain and snow showers with it. A wetter but milder system will push into the West with valley rains and mountain snows. The southern US looks to be rather mild and comfortable. Overall, lighter than normal demand with the only relatively cold air across the far northern US, focused across the Great Lakes and Northeast.
