Ahead of Weekend Break, Pattern Cold Enough Early & Late, But Not in Middle

Friday, February 8:   The overnight weather data maintained a frigid pattern for the next several days as a strong cold blast sweeps across the country, while also trended back a bit colder Feb 18-22nd. However, next week continues to trend milder, especially across the South and East and where the pattern stands out as not cold enough. Also of important consideration, while the coming pattern isn’t as frigid as it has been, it doesn’t have to be as 5-year average draws quickly drop to only -104 Bcf for the EIA report three weeks out, a much easier mark to exceed.

Cold Shot Friday-Sunday for swing to strong natinoal demand.

Cold temperatures this weekend for much of US.

The pattern for next week has trended milder, especially across the South and East.

Cold enough early and late in the 15-day forecast, but not in the middle.
