Wednesday:  After the overnight GFS was colder trending, the early morning GFS data trended/flipped back milder to lose numerous HDD’s, now better matching the European model. Prices dropped a very quick 8-9 cents overnight as the overnight European model showed a less impressive cold pattern around the Christmas Holiday, especially across the East. When the GFS early morning 6z run also showed a milder trend for Dec 25-27th, Dec19 ‘prices continued to slide further by several more cents. The table below highlights this milder trend from our Live HDD/CDD data. This puts the pressure on colder patterns needing to gain momentum back if bullish weather sentiment is to be expected for the last week of December.  Prices have also now dropped out of the multi-week wedge.
