Monday:  Temperatures vs normal averaged over the next 7-Days shows warmer than normal conditions over most of the western, central, and southern US with highs of 80s to near 100F for stronger than normal demand for cooling. However, weather systems into the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, like early this week, will bias these important regions near to slightly cooler than normal as highs only reach the 50s to 70s for light heating needs.  Two images below show the weather pattern for Monday and the last shows highs for today.
